When I first started as a hypnotherapist, although I had a wealth business experience, I found many mediums that worked well in previous industries were a waste of money as a therapist. I spent thousands of pounds on “trial and error” advertising - thousands that you won’t need to!

I’m Gary Oke, a full time hypnotherapist and life coach with centres in Manchester, Glossop and Sheffield. I also teach hypnotherapy with British Ethical School of Therapies.

Before training as a therapist and coach, I enjoyed a successful career in sales and marketing. The later years were spent as Sales and Marketing Director of a retail company  and Sales and Marketing Manager of a company  in the gaming industry.

Prior to this, I spent my career in Business to Business sales and marketing. Clients included household names such as Coca-Cola, McVities, Cadbury, Nestle, Trebor Basset, Bass Brewers, Castrol, Barclays Bank, Yellow Pages, Makro and De Vere Hotels.

I developed retail and wholesale advertising, point of sale concepts and signage for these companies, always selling in an advisory capacity and never stooping to sell on price.

I also managed,  trained and motivated telesales and field sales staff. Due to the senior positions held, I also worked on several business development programmes with management

consultants and training companies.
